Pearkes Spring Break Camp

The BW Hockey Pearkes Spring Break Camp is a five-day development experience designed to help players maximize their growth both on and off the ice. Running Monday through Friday, this camp combines skill development, game application, off-ice training, and athlete education in a fun, energetic, and challenging environment. Led by the BW Hockey coaching staff, players will benefit from a proven development model built on professional playing experience, high-level coaching principles, and a commitment to long-term athlete development.

Camp Structure

Players will be divided into two training groups by level to ensure quality instruction, appropriate pacing, and maximum development opportunities. Each day includes:

  • 2 on-ice sessions per day
  • Dryland training
  • Skill development stations with areas of focus
  • Small-area games & competition
  • Classroom-style video analysis session
  • Team-building activities
  • Guest speaker presentation

BW Hockey Foundations

Suggested ages 6–12. For players who can skate independently, listen to coaching instructions and apply direction during drills. Sessions may include:

  • Skating: speed, edges, technique, jumping and races
  • Puck handling: technique, overspeed with the puck and 1-on-1 moves
  • Game situations: skills and drills taken directly from game situations
  • Compete and fun: small-area games, battles and stickhandling circuits

BW Hockey Performance

Suggested ages 9–14 · Non-contact or Contact. Performance sessions move at a faster pace and introduce more complex skills, skill combinations, decision-making and game situations. Minimum requirement: players must have reached the BW Hockey Foundations skill level. Not sure if your player is ready for Performance? Book a consultation session to have their current skill level assessed.
